about

Here’s some new songs recorded at The Sessions Hotel in Bristol, Virginia April 26-30, 2021. The Sessions Hotel is a cool new hotel in three old buildings. The building I recorded in was the 2nd floor of the Simply Grand Granary Mill building which now has some rooms and the Southern Craft Restaurant downstairs. It's a big empty room that will be used for events and I will help put on some shows in the future.

I thought it would be fun and a challenge to write and record in this room and kind of break it in for future recordings. It’s a great place! And I love Bristol and being there!

“When The Good Times Come Again” was written with Ketch Secor a few months ago, “Let’s Make Some Memories” was written with Charles Humphrey lll a few weeks ago, “Rainbow Choo Choo Train” was started a few years ago with Sara Douga and finished last week. “Hope Springs Eternal” was written a few years ago, but not released, until now, and the rest were written last week in Bristol.
